Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Elizabeth Welch
Dr. Elizabeth Welch is the owner of Hearing Services of Franklin. Dr. Welch received her masters degree from the University of Mississippi in 1998 then she and her family moved to Franklin, where she began her career as an Audiologist. In 2004, she completed her doctoral degree from Salus University. As the owner of Hearing Services of Franklin, Dr. Welch leads one of Middle Tennessee’s largest hearing health care facilities. Dr. Welch also founded and runs a non-profit organization, Hearing Connections, to help all patients have access to affordable hearing care. Elizabeth is married with three beautiful daughters who definitely keep her busy and blessed.
Dr. Bridget Lee
Dr. Bridget Lee received her doctoral degree from the University of Memphis in 2004. Dr. Lee practiced in Memphis for three years. Having grown up in Columbia, she returned to the Middle Tennessee area in 2007. Dr. Lee now serves Middle Tennessee with her hearing and balance expertise at Hearing Services of Franklin. Dr. Lee and her family live in Spring Hill, and she sees patients in the Spring Hill location.
Dr. Rachel Tuberville
Dr. Rachel Tuberville attended the University of Southern Mississippi. She completed her externship at Hearing Services of Franklin, and earned her doctoral degree in 2009. With her knowledge and compassionate personality for individuals with hearing impairment, Dr. Tuberville continues serving the residents of Middle Tennessee from our Franklin location. She and her husband have two children, Evy and Colten.
Dr. Erica Thayer
Dr. Erica Thayer completed her externship at Hearing Services of Franklin and joined the practice after receiving her doctoral degree in Audiology from the University of Tennessee. Dr. Thayer offers insight into the newest technologies and treatment options for our patients. Erica and her husband, Tyler, moved from Knoxville to Middle Tennessee in May of 2013 and now reside in Nolensville with their son Calvin.
Meet Our Office Staff
Connie Heiney – Patient Care Coordinator
Conni is originally from central Ohio, and worked in telecommunications for 15 years before joining our team. She works in Spring Hill office with Dr. Lee. Conni’s husband has a hearing loss, so she understands how important hearing is, not only for the patient but to their family and friends as well. Conni and her husband Roger live in Franklin. Conni joined Hearing Services of Franklin in May 2011, and we would truly be lost without her.
Leslie Johnson – Patient Care Coordinator
Leslie graduated from Lipscomb University with a degree in education, but decided to go a different direction with her career when Dr. Welch offered her a position at Hearing Services of Franklin in 2010. Leslie wanted to work with Godly people in a Godly environment who make God the focus of their daily lives, and she says she gets to do that and more at Hearing Services of Franklin. Leslie is a life long resident of Franklin. She has been happily married to Eric for 3 years, who is also a life long resident of Franklin and is on the Franklin police force. Leslie and Eric welcomed a beautiful daughter named Annie in 2015. We are blessed to have Leslie’s sweet spirit on our team.
Pam Embry – Patient Care Coordinator
Pam is originally from Louisville, KY. She and her husband, Ron, relocated to Tennessee in 1990. Pam has worked in healthcare administrative support for over 40 years. She and Ron have three children and nine grandchildren. When they aren’t attending sporting events or activities to cheer on their grandkids, Pam and Ron enjoy camping with friends and family. Pam greets our patients in the Franklin office and on the phones, and helps keep all of us on our best behavior. Her laugh is contagious and we just love having her as part of the HearFranklin team!
Maggie Spiegel – Audiology Support
Maggie comes to us as a recent graduate from the University of Alabama, with her undergraduate degree in Communicative Disorders. Maggie is helping us in the clinic during walk-in hours and with general lab/technician responsibilities, until it is time for her to move on to begin her doctoral program in Audiology. We’ve love Maggie’s enthusiasm and efficiency, and we hope you get the chance to meet her soon.
Sara Sartin – Manager
Sara has a bachelors degree from Liberty University with majors in business management and Christian counseling. Sara is a former US Marine, and after her service spent 15 years working as a manager for marketing, sales, customer service, and production teams in the publishing and print industries. She thrives on seeing positive results and contributing to the success of others. Sara and her husband Lee live in Franklin with their son Wyatt.
